Mmmmmmmmmm, semi-solid food.
I just had a piece of Laughing Cow Babybel Light cheese. You know, the cheese that comes individually packaged in red plastic that you peel off and munch. It is very soft cheese, which is why I could handle it. I had to chew it with my 2 front teeth, and it took me about 20 minutes, but still...it wasn't yogurt or soup.
I miss wine.
I miss wine.

Enjoy the pain-killers while you can. It's what makes the surgery worth it.
Warning: YOU CANNOT FLY WHILE ON PAIN MEDS. Trust me, I wish somebody had told me that. I wouldn't have taken a swan dive down the stairs.
Hahahahahaha, thanks for the warning. Interestingly enough, you cannot, or at least are strongly advised not to, smoke cigarettes. So, I haven't had one since the day the ban failed. Additonally, it kind of seems like an ideal time to quit, since the withdrawal isn't bad bc of the meds and knowing that I physically CANNOT smoke is better than thinking I should quit.
Kind of ironic, huh?
Irony is my life. I can avoid the son of a bitch. Every time I turn around, he pops up to laugh at me.
Anyway, good luck with the swelling and shit. Enjoy the pain pills while they last. And good luck with the quitting should you decide to.
Jaime: Have you tried hummus with some sort of soft pita bread? I don't know how bad you are, but pita bread can be very soft (microwave it for 30 seconds wrapped in a paper towel). Even if it takes you an hour to eat, it's not soup.
Actually, I just had some hummus tonight. I love hummus, and I usually make my own bc I like it chunky, but I bought the ultra smooth stuff from the store. It was divine.
I also have been able to eat some couscous in chicken broth, which was heavenly.
