Lambert is still a good democrat. Look at his 40 yr Democratic history. One mistake doesn't warrant the abuse he has taken. Not to mention, he can't be beaten, have you looked at the demographics of the 9th sen district, and he has the entire democratic senate delegation behind him(including deeds & saslaw). Kaine is also appreciative for having Lambert defend his transportation plan. Lambert is Kaine's biggest ally due to his seniority on the senate Finance Committee.
Right, and Harris Miller easily won the primary here in Richmond. Things change, period. Voters are a bigger group than the group of which you speak, and they are angry and hurt, and some even feel betrayed by members of the like you mentioned. Those people should deal with THAT before they attack McEachin for doing the right thing.
We'll see what happens. I don't hear anyone coming out in support of Lambert, so maybe, just perhaps, you are wishing and hoping...
Hey, hold up! I'm a Mceachin fan. Nobody is against McEachin nor is anyone attacking him. However, I just know what Lambert is all about as well. Hopefully Sen Lambert learned a valuable lesson. He already claimed he has(according to the Richmond Dem Committee meeting). If nothing else hold Lambert accountable by interviewing him. If Lambert wins or if McEachin decides to run for his own seat(which is a guaranteed lock), Sen Lambert needs to face all of the angry & hurt Dems who he dissapointed...is that to much to ask?
